Summers coolest trend!
The Cowrie shell necklace is quickly becoming the summer must-have. Originating from the shorelines of western Africa, Cowrie shells were first used as currency in China. Measuring approximately 25mm x 15mm, the luminous hand polished shell is attached by a red silk cord strung with a mix of cardinal red and colonial blue Japanese beads. Easy on-and-off using a gold-plated magnetic ball clasp. The necklace is 15" in total length which is equal to a 7 1/2" drop.
